All packed

I had to get all my stuff packed up today for my scrapbooking weekend in Chicago with Lisa and Nicole. It took me 3 hours! I wanted to pack light....and realized I have a ton of stuff. I think I got it pretty well organized though. So last night I watched Twilight...not real sure what the obsession with this is, I thought the movie was pretty terrible and that guy was really weird looking. Didn't do too much else this weekend, worked a little on Saturday. Watched basketball...I was actually in 2nd place for our work bracket but after Pittsburgh and Louisville lost this weekend I'm definitely out of that spot. I'm looking forward to a girl's weekend, girl time and scrapbooking is a great combination!

Projects

Finally got the garage in some sort of order and can actually get a car parked in it now! Too bad this wasn't accomplished before the past winter, I could've avoided a lot of scraping.

I'm saying goodbye to my Pebble phone after 5 years together. Caylea's phone died, so she inherited the Pebble and I got a Blackberry. It was nice having a phone that not everyone else had. Caylea loves it though!

I just placed an order on Red Velvet Art. One of the owner's is Elsie Flannigan, who used to make all my favorite scrapbook paper but she no longer does. Her store is in Springfield, MO. And I just made an order online and can't wait to get my new fun stuff! I love her art and style.

Productive Sunday

So yesterday I worked and came home and made myself run, then bought Zack and Miri Make a Porno on demand. It was pretty funny! Today got up, cleaned the house, ran 2 miles (not all at once) and am now trying to get my scrapbook room organized because it's gotten a little piled up. Here's where Jazzie was hiding while I cleaned.

So I was finally going thru all the stuff that landed in the garage and trying to make room to put an actual car in there instead, and found this little blast from my past. Yes it's my MC Hammer concert ticket and button. 1990. $21.50. Can't believe I still have this.

Caylea's been doing the yearbook club at school and I now have to fight for my camera. She's taken some pretty cool pics, I really like this one she took looking up into a lamp.

Somehow I found myself getting talked into running a 5k with a group from work. Why did I agree to that, I don't know. I got up this morning and made it a mile without stopping, it was painful. Getting up in the morning to do it again except running outside this time instead of my treadmill , not looking forward to that at all. I've got until May to work up to running 3 miles. We'll see how that goes!

Hellooooooo!

Hey everyone! I made a new blog so I can keep up with everyone, with all the craziness going on right now I don't feel like updating the old blog. And I miss blogging! : ) It's Saturday night and I'm sitting on my couch watching Millionaire Matchmaker. Caylea spent the night last night with her friend Kim, her first sleepover here in Mo. This morning I get a call from Caylea saying she is going to the mall with Kim and her family and she'll be home later....soon I get a call from Kim's mom asking if Caylea can stay the night again tonight. So she's having a blast this weekend, and I'm not real sure what to do with myself!
