Uphill Battle

I know I don't feel good when:

1. I fall asleep during the season finale of The Office

2. Take my nightly shower and can't muster up enough energy to shave my legs. Hate going a day without shaving.

3. Plans to pack for Bon Jovi weekend went down the drain.

I've decided migraines are like running uphill. It's no fun and pain all the way up, but boy coming down sure does make you appreciate feeling good again. Headache that progressively worsened today since 4:30 am. Finally at 11:30 pm I am feeling decent. Had to make a phone call to mom to request a 7Up run. After a dinner of 7Up, muscle relaxers, and a few Chips A'Hoy cookies the daggers seemed to have stopped stabbing me in the right eye.

And the bad mom of the year award goes to...

Me "Caylea is at a two night overnight camping trip for school"
Friend "Oh that sounds like fun. Where is she at?"
Me"Uhhh....I don't know. I think it's in my email somewhere."
Caylea "Aaaahhhhh!"
Me "You ok up there?"
Caylea "There's a spider"
Me "Well kill it!"
Caylea "You kill it!"
Me "Ugh, hold on" (go trekking upstairs)
Caylea "It's in that box"
Me "I'm not going to open that box, you do it"
Caylea "I don't want to, just open it"
Me (poking around in the box) "I don't see it"
Caylea "It was just in there"
Me "Well it's gone. Here is the fly swatter. Good luck, you are on your own." (trek back downstairs)
Caylea "Aaaahhhhh. Got it."

On the recommendation of a friend started watching this show, am now officially hooked!

Got one of our family pics turned into a canvas and hung it up in the entryway. Added one of the wall rub ons and I think it completes the entryway!

It felt like I was scrapbooking my wall.

Friday night went to a fun happy hour, did a lot of studying for CPCU this weekend, blah, and almost went to championship midget wrestling but last minute couldn't find anyone to go with. Bummer, that would've been something to check off my bucket list.

Note to self

I wish for no distractions

Watching Camelot on Starz and a quote from the show "For her 3rd birthday she asked for 6 wishes. Her first wish was for a life without the distraction of love and marriage." Hmm...I like it.

Kind of blurry picture, but rest assured, it is not only Magnus that gets mail. Jazz got her birthday card from Toy's R Us also. We celebrate both their birthdays on May 8th. So mom's day and doggie b'days, big day tomorrow.

Stuff this

So remember how I bought the dogs toys without stuffing in them in an effort to avoid stuffing all over my living room floor? Well Jazz decided she'd show me. She tore every string off this toy. I stepped out of the shower and it looked like someone had sprayed silly string all over the bedroom while I was take my shower. So instead of picking up stuffing I am picking up strings. On another note I've been trying to update the blog and it's been giving me an error message, so finally tonight it let me!
