Scrapbook girl gone wild

What goodies hide in this box?
A lot, because I went on a bit of a shopping spree on scrapbook.com.

It's been awhile since I've made any purchases so it was fun to stock up.

Some of the new paper

And some vacation embellishments

Fun girlie paper

Can't wait to play with these canvas petals from Basic Grey

Basic Grey stuff gets me every time

Paper I plan to use for Disney pics

And perfect embellishments for the Princess marathon pics

This is a fun new frame I plan to turn into a fun project and include pics of Caylea and me in when we get them back, which should be tomorrow!

The back of the frame package with an example of a project

This is the super cute harness I was so excited to buy for Jazzie for running. Unfortunately it is not big enough. :( They only go up to a size medium and it's just a bit too tight on her. I was really hoping it would work because 1. It's cute and 2. the regular harness rubs against her legs. She was willing to give it a try but I was afraid it would hurt her legs since it was too tight. So I had to return it. So sad.

Doggie easter presents. I thought it would be smart of me to buy these because there is no stuffing in them...hence avoiding stuffing all over my living room.

Jazzie was very happy as usual

Magnus however was quite disappointed. Apparently he did not see any point to having a new toy unless there was stuffing to be ripped out of it. He pouted in the corner. Jazz took both toys and ran before he could change his mind.

Quoted

1. "Don't cry over someone who won't cry over you."

2. "I don't miss him, I miss who I thought he was."

3. "When one door closes, another door opens. But we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones which open for us" Alexander Grahm Bell

4. "Letting go has never been easy, but holding on can be as difficult." Len Santos

5. "Love is like war, easy to begin but very hard to stop."

6. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference.

And to lighten things up a bit, a few bits of sheer genious from The Hangover:

1. "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Except for herpes, that s*** will come back with you." Sid

2. "Do you know if this hotel is pager friendly? I'm not getting a sig on my beeper." Alan

Diamond Eyes

I'm out on the front line, Don't worry I'll be fine, The story is just beginning. I say goodbye to the weakness, So long to the regret, And now I see the world through Diamond Eyes Best Bicep Body Pump song and all around amazing song with amazing lyrics. If you want a rocking song, download this. This post just for the hot blonde in black, yeah, you know who you are. Weekend adventures: Friday-Hour that was supposed to be happy -watched Camelot on Starz. Not as good as Spartacus. Main character is so not hot, bad move people, gotta make the main character hot. Part of the problem is he is blonde and you all know how much of a fan I am of blonde on guys. Saturday- Body Pump release 77-tracks featuring Bon Jovi, Shinedown (see above), Usher, Enrique Iglesias. I think this is my favorite release ever. -Dinner with great girlfriends then drinks after with a friend and her husband and a possibly sneaky attempt at a set up. Sunday- -First run since the half marathon, 2 miles of running/walking. Felt good. -Talent show and fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. To be honest last week was crap-tastic. So far this week is following in the footsteps. Boo. I got plenty of crap in my back yard, don't need it in every other area of my life. Maybe I need to turn that into a bumper sticker or something because that message doesn't seem to be getting through. So crap on you crap. On that happy note that should leave you all feeling wonderfully upbeat, I am going to bed!. p.s. This post was all nicely spaced and it refuses to let me publish it with the nice spacing to make it easier to read. You know, because it is being crappy!

Tyra ain't got nothing on us

Caylea and I had a blast doing a mother/daughter photo shoot with a wonderful photographer I work with. 2,000 pictures and 5 hours later we did happy, smart, sass, cute, coy, silly, serious, and attitude pics. The backgrounds are so cool. Think keep out signs and old train tracks. So much fun playing out my modeling dreams.

This weekend was full of fun. Hung out with Julie Friday night, bought some fun new blue eyeshadow, love it! Saturday hung out with Amanda in Boonville and ate some delicious food, had some yummy drinks and shared some great laughs! Then modeling the day away on Sunday. I've made the decision to get out of the house more, try to be more social. This weekend was a great start!

Just sayin

Went to an incredibly painful Body Pump workout tonight and after my day I truly wanted to embrace the pain. It was very challenging but it may have been the first time I really thought I was embracing the pain and liked it because it made the rest of the day fade away.
Has anyone else noticed that the American Idol judges hardly ever give any negative feedback? Just sayin.
Hindsight-20/20. Just sayin. Source
Hint of Pepper Jack Tostitos. Worth it. Just sayin.

A new day

Hanging out and hangin stuff up

This weekend went to make the first frozen yogurt run of the season with Krista and Henry Went to VS to get my favorite Cotton Candy lotion, found it wasn't on sale as it always is so decided to try this one instead and may have a new favorite...I can't stop sniffing my arm.

Hung curtains in my scrapbook room

Close up of the cute embroidery on the curtains
I found these cute magnetic boards on Etsy when I was Christmas shopping for a friend and decided to get one for myself because they were too cute

That same friend gave me this metal artwork for Christmas (yes we just exchanged Christmas gifts in March, just a little late)
I've been pretty lazy and it has been nice!
